Reflecting on 2024: Connection, Growth & Lessons Learned

As the year wraps up and the festive season begins, I wanted to share a few personal highlights and lessons that shaped my 2024—alongside a heartfelt thank you for being part of it.

This Year’s Highlights

This year has brought me so many moments to be grateful for. I’ve had the privilege of supporting incredible clients as they overcame anxiety, broke unhelpful habits, and built new confidence. Seeing their progress has been a joy.

I was also super proud to see my article on sexual dysfunction published, a milestone that allowed me to contribute to an important conversation about mental and physical well-being. This subject is so close to my heart, and I have some exciting plans for delving even further into this research next year.

On a personal note, prioritising my own self-care and letting go of perfectionism has helped me feel more relaxed, confident and at peace with my capacity. For now I have ditched the running regime in favour of getting cosy with a good book and I have to say, it feels good. More than anything, this year has reminded me that balance is a practice—and a worthy one at that.

What I Learned

  1. Small Steps Are Powerful
It’s easy to underestimate small changes, but they build momentum. Little wins—whether for my clients or myself—often lead to life-changing shifts.

  2. Community Fuels Growth
Connecting with other business founders this year through soft networking has brought me motivation, inspiration, and a much-needed sense of community.

  3. The Art of Pacing and Pausing
I’ve learned the value of slowing down, stepping back, and compartmentalising when needed. I’ve experienced the reset of three social media breaks and I’m pleased to say I’m ending the year with one more!

Gratitude & Looking Ahead

Thank you—truly—to my clients, followers, and supporters. Your trust and openness have made this year more meaningful than I can put into words.

As we approach the New Year, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and dream big for 2025. If hypnotherapy feels like the step to help you feel calmer, more confident, or ready for change, I’d love to support you.

I’ll be back in the treatment room from January 2nd, and bookings are open now through my website.

For the next two weeks, I’ll be offline, taking time to fully enjoy some rest and festive moments, but I’ll respond to all enquiries from the 2nd.

Wishing you a joyful festive season and a bright, beautiful New Year!

With warmth,
Ellie
